Eaken Brickman Duo

We would like to introduce you to a new musical duo that is available to give an elegant aura to any event. This violin and violin/viola combo consists of two of the premier Central Pennsylvania musicians: John Eaken, violinist in the Grammy-nominated Eaken Piano Trio, and Marty Brickman, former concertmaster of the University of Maryland Symphony and the Hanover Symphony. Their repertoire includes all of the standard wedding and reception music as well as the classical genre, with music suitable for any event. They also specialize in light classical and popular favorites as well as music for specialized events such as anniversaries, retirements, holidays, bar mitzvahs, and other Jewish events.

The advantage of the Eaken Brickman Duo over other groups is their flexibility. They can physically move quickly and easily from room to room, from outside events to inside, and need no special space requirements. In addition, they perform as soloists, or as soloists with piano or organ accompaniment, to perform those specially requested numbers that most other classically oriented groups are not prepared to do--yet they give that classic elegance to any event that only strings can. Another advantage is the cost. Weddings and receptions start at only $500, with additional hours averaging only $200. Actual pricing is available upon request.
