Join the Eaken Piano Trio for the cultural and musical experience of a lifetime. You will perform for the largest audience you may ever play for. On our 2008 tour we had almost 3,000 at one concert; at another hall with a capacity for 1,500 we turned away over 3,000 people. Come with us as we tour some of the famous cultural sites in China: the Great Wall, Forbidden City, among others. We will also visit some major sites seldom visited by Americans, such as the incredible Hanging Temple, near Datong, and the ancient but well-preserved walled city of Pingyao, the financial center of China in ancient times. You will be treated as friends from far away, with the warmth and love of the Chinese people, as we share our music and friendship with them.
